Gazete Azulejos
This was a really worthwhile experience! This is not the biggest place, probably fit about 16 people for a class. You are given a brief intro to azulejos. I actually wish a little more time was spent talking about the history in a perfect world because it seems like a fascinating subject.Don’t worry if you can’t draw, there are plenty cool designs to pick from and all you have to do is paint over the holes in the stencil. Our teacher was friendly and helpful. I can see why painting these tiles is therapeutic and it was a nice chill way to spend a couple of hours. This was definitely the coolest and most personal of my souvenirs I got in Portugal. I love how my azulejos turned out and will always treasure them!
