Casa do Ribeirinho

We had a wonderful overnight stop at this family-run guest-house, and plan to go back for a longer stay later in the year.The owners and staff were all incredibly welcoming, friendly and attentive.We were able to leave our bags safely in reception before check-in time, which really helped us out.The room was clean and tidy, with a very efficient (and quiet) air conditioner - most welcome, as the outside temperature was 42C!The gardens are wonderful - built into the hill on several levels, and with a ‘dunk’ pool. They are lush and peaceful. A real oasis.Breakfast was simple and adequate, and the coffee was good.The only reason I’m not giving it 5* is because our bathroom was a little tired and in need of refurbishment, though it was totally acceptable for an overnight stay.Thank you for your amazing hospitality and generosity. We’ll be back soon!
